Suddenly Lillith bursts in, interrupting us slightly. Not that it was a big deal though. She seemingly had something to ask. ''Sure, go ahead. I'm all ears'' I said as I was resting on a bench, sipping water and once again stretching. Could never get enough of stretching. Eagerly I awaited what was the matter that she wished us to address.

"The last Pokemon for the students hatched just now. It was a shiny Froakie." I can feel the fatigue, I think I've been up for nearly 40 hours or so at this point. "After consideration, I have decided that the best course of action is to keep it in rotation. I've been informing all the teachers, in particular to keep a lookout for bullying, or other drastic measures." Jeez, what a surprise though. I typically go out my way to try to ensure that these Pokemon aren't shiny. At some point I put my hand on my head, due to a headache. "I believe that particular Pokemon is actually in Duke's class, but I haven't found him yet."

I lower my hand and tilt my head, "Ara, a new Pokemon? What is it?" Crap I think I just derailed myself.

Siel

A shiny Froakie huh, damn what are the odds of that happening. Oh well that's the luck of the draw I guess. "Well someone will definitely feel very lucky. Speaking of Shinies though." I say as I grab one of my balls off of the table. "Meet Sid!" I say gleefully as I toss my Pokeball, unleashing my Umbreon.

"I got her from the daycare center just outside Goldenrod, some trainer abandoned another Eevee egg, so I decided to take it in. Imagine my surprise when a little shiny guy popped out of it though." I turn back to Lillith. "Anyways I know nothing about its parents or anything, all I know is she has a hell of a knack for combat. I was hoping you could give her a lookover for me in case she has any health issues I should be aware of though."

"Well, you certainly did!" I laugh back at her as we land, and I have time to notice that I'm way more damp than I should be. Knowing her, her tone also tips me off to something, and I take closer look at her. It's getting dark, but we're standing close enough for it not to matter, and I quickly find that

"You are soaked to your skin! Ooh, I'll show you just how I love you, we need to get you inside, now. Then we can talk. No, I won't hear a peep from you. Heavens Alli, you knew you were heading into a storm. Didn't you think put on something more appropriate?" I know she hates it when I make a fuzz about her, so to get back at her for her little stunt before, I make sure to be as fuzzy as I can.

''A Froakie, hm? I can take that with me, so there will be no jealousy among the students'' I say with a sarcastic tone, although then I realize Lillith is looking tired as it is so she might not read my sarcasm too well. ''Just kidding. The owner of that will be very lucky but possibly unlucky too, we'll see. Duke's class huh? I can notify Duke of this, if you want'' I add informatively.

Siel seems to have something up his sleeve, and so it turns out to be. He unleashes a Shiny Umbreon out of his pokeball, that's wicked. ''Woah. Cool, no kidding'' I express with an upbeat tone. Although now I get back into my workout, can't have a too long of a break. I'm still listening to anything Siel or Lillith might have to say though.

I kneel down and place my hand on the Umbreon's head, briefly, before sliding my hand down to it's cheek. That's odd. I tilt it's head up and look at it's face. I feel a shock run down my spine. "Abandoned egg you say?" Unbelievable. I stand up. "You must be some sort of lucky..."


Alli

"Eh, I was dry until I tried leaving. I swear. It just jumped ahead of me and was like 'NO WAY!' Oh yeah, speaking of storms, a big one's gonna be here in a few hours tops." I'm too cold to resist anymore, so she just herds me inside. "Prolly gonna last all day. I bet that sucks for the students. Oh but the worst of it is gonna miss us, it's gonna swing north." I continue to ramble on.

I let out another yawn. "Well, I'm going to hit the hay. Talk to ya later." I can even be bothered to get under the sheets, I just roll over and close my eyes.

Siel

"Yeah it is actually the second abandoned Eevee I've obtained from them." I say as I watch her examine Sid. I've always been fascinated watching her interact with the Pokemon like this, something that is way over my head. "Sad really how many people just ditch the eggs at the daycare there, its bad enough they actually have a girl their helping take care of some of the little guys until they can find them new homes. So, hows she look?"

"Astounding...Perfect even. I have seen so few Pokemon that have this raw potential." Namely my own Fae. I was so ecstatic when I bred her. A perfect Eevee, my parents congratulated me, and when the one of the teachers noticed at school, they started having serious talks of hiring me. "And he's quite smart from what I can infer." Seriously, that posture, that look-that knowing look- that I've only seen a handful of times. I cannot believe that someone abandoned this egg.

Siel

"That's great to hear." I say cheerfully as I walk up and scratch Did behind the ear. "I could tell she was special from training, but I always worry with strange eggs until I get the chance to have you check them out for me. Never know what issues you're signing up for ya know?" I look back at Lillith, and remember how exhausted she looked.

I clear my throat as I stand back up. "Anyways yeah I'll make sure to get with Duke after classes start so I can figure out who ends up with that shiny Froakie and keep an eye on them, make sure nothing happens. You should probably get some rest though. After all classes will start soon and you know what that means." I pause as I climb back on my machine then turn back to Lillith and wink. "All the silly first years will be storming your office after their first battles with their new starters."

I bid farewell to Lillith then turn my attention back to my workout and Kiri. "Man leave it to Lilly to breed a shiny for a starter."

"Oh....yeah...." Most of these kids have no idea how to battle proper, or how to recognize their Pokemon's limits. I will certainly be seeing a lot of them soon. "My chances of finding Sefi and Alli seem terribly low, I think I should just go lie down..." I think the hatchery is closer, I'll just sleep there.

I lock the hatchery door behind me as I enter and I just lie down in the corner. Moments later I can feel Fae join me. "Thanks~" I mumble half asleep.
