As I'm eating my food I notice Lenyth looks over at me a couple times. I wonder if she's wanting me to go sit with them. I look around a bit as the place is getting more crowded. "Eh, might as well," I think to myself "Probably not gonna be able to keep this table to myself much longer anyways."

I pick up my tray and walk over to where Lenyth and pretty boy are sitting. "Hey" I say towards Lenyth as I place my tray on the table and sit down, almost ignoring the fact another person is at the table.

"Oh?" He came over after all. "Good morning, Mr. Matt. Thank you again for yesterday."

I lean back in my seat, when I suddenly notice a buff redheaded guy sitting at the table, talking to Len. He looks like he could kick my ass, so I reconsider my words. Pretending not to notice I answer “Yeah, maybe.” I continue eating while Len greets this guy, Matt. I finish chewing and down it with another sip of coffee. Though I feel a bit offended that this guy wouldn’t do so much as at least exchange a parting glass, I figure there’s no need to make any enemies on the first week. “Oh, what’s up?” I casually greet this “Matt” person.

I let out a little laugh as Lenyth greets me, I think that is the first time I've ever been called mister.
"Morning," I say back to her "and it was no problem really, thanks for letting me keep the pen." She doesn't mention anything about my lack of clothes so I figure I won't bring it up.

The pretty boy turns and greets me as I take a bite of my sandwich. I look at him while I finish chewing, making silent eye contact for about five seconds before swallowing and responding. "Hi" I say back.

I stop running my finger on the cup rim. "Pardon me..." I glance between the two boys. "I-is there some bad blood between you?" There is an odd tension between them, I cannot quite place my finger on it. Perhaps it is simply the weather causing this mood.

Matthew

Dammit I knew this was a bad idea, I'm never really good at meeting new people. Hell I doubt Lenyth would even want to speak to me much if I hadn't helped her get into her room.

"No, sorry" I say then turn to the Pretty boy.
"Uh, I'm Matt." I say and offer out my hand for a traditional handshake (I feel like that needs to be stated at this point).

I’m a little surprised by Len’s question. “Not at all, it’s just, y’know, two-thirds of us haven’t gotten properly acquainted yet.” I look at Matt, raise my eyebrows and give a tiny smile. He’s extended his hand, so I take it and give it a solid shake. “Name’s Page, good to meet’cha. You two know each other, I assume?” I take another bite of my croissant and give Gibson another cold cut. As I sit back and take another sip of coffee, the name “Matt” starts to jog my memory a bit. I heard about a “Matt” from Nimbassa City, literally a hop, skip and a jump away from my town. My curiosity piqued, I asked Matt, “Say, did you go to school in Nimbassa City, by chance?”

Ah! Is that what you are supposed to do with that weird hand gesture. I close my eyes and lift my cup to my mouth. Maybe they are suspicious of people they do not know. Still, it is no good to let such suspicion show. Oh, perhaps Mr. Page has heard of Mr. Matt after all. I slowly sip out of my cup, listening carefully.

The Pretty boy shakes my hand and introduces himself as Page. "Yeah," I respond when he asks if Lenyth and I had met before. "we're both in aura hall and met when someone put puddy in the door locks."

I started to think that this guy might not be so bad, then he asked if I was from Nimbassa. I choked a little on my juice and could feel the color drain from my face as he asked that. No point hiding it I suppose, no way I could pull off a proper bluff after that immediate reaction. "And if I had?" I ask him back, trying my best not to sound to aggressive.

“You’re a goddamned rockstar.” Judging from Matt’s face, I may have touched a nerve there, but I didn’t really mind. “You sounded so familiar for some reason, I guess my hunch was right.” I remember hearing stories about him roughing up students that gave him crap or dissing teachers to their faces. He was the guy we all strove to be, but knew too well we weren’t tough enough to follow his act. “I remember going to a rock club back home in Castelia too, there was a punk band that called themselves ‘Matt vs. Nimbassa’. They really tore it up out there.” I never really knew what the guy looked like, I only heard hints in gossip amongst other kids. I heard he’s seven feet tall!, yelled one kid. Is it true that he eats bowls of nails for breakfast? Without milk?, cried another. Even though he was a troublemaker, he was a rockstar to me and my group of friends back in Castelia for the longest time.
