As I approached the student lounge, I was stunned at the sheer amount of students here. Not wanting to waste any time, I turned my attention to the table with free refreshments. I made myself a particularly bright and sweet cup of coffee. Feeling tired, I thought this would be the perfect pick-me-up for today's festivities. I found an empty table, took a seat, and gingerly removed my guitar from its case. "Hello, beautiful" I said under my breath. A slight adjustment and a small tweak later, I started to play.

Kiri

I had a party of 6 going on, Espeon, Roserade, Charizard, Arcanine, Electivire and Garchomp (who was unscathed though, with zero injuries or anything but I had him with me regardless). I navigated my way through the hallways all the way up to Lillith's room. I knocked audibly and stated that it's me, Kiri.

Duke
------
I kept giving out leaflets and what not to everyone who asked (which was majority). Some would find this tedious work, but I actually did this voluntarily. I got to see some faces, and answer some questions and interact with people in general. Kiri would never do this, I thought to myself.
One girl even called me an old guy. Didn't think I was that old, I was in my early thirties. Maybe it's the beard, I wondered. Very soon just about everyone had taken theirs, so it was my time to move on to other things. For now the students would be just fine socializing and touring around without my instructions.

Jin

I had taken my time, walking quietly as one of the last people entering the building.
One guy had even bumped up against me, and apologized saying he didn't notice me.
Mission accomplished. Didn't stand out, I guess. I did feel some stares at my back, but that's perfectly normal. So many people were excited, happy and just spurting around grabbing leaflets, heading to the cafeteria and what not. The guy who was giving them out looked like a teacher definitely. I didn't need to get myself a leaflet, since I had figured out everything out before even coming here. A lot of different looking people here.

I honestly wasn't that much into socializing, but I went to grab something from the lounge to eat to satisfy my hunger. I got myself some rice and chicken with some spicy sauce. Didn't want something to just snack on, I'd rather get a big meal in before reserving a room and all the other things possible. I located a table that was far off, and where I would be by myself, since I'd rather not have to sit with anyone. When I ate, I ate. Didn't fancy talking while eating all that much. And I don't think anyone would venture this far to my table anyways, so I'd be well off I believed.
Sat down there and started eating, while falling into my own thoughts.

Diana

As the crowds had settled by a bit, I decided to go looking around the courtyard and the campus.
Didn't feel like getting a room just yet, and I definitely wasn't hungry because I ate some snacks earlier on the ride, and before the ride I ate a good, rather well-sized meal.
The campus air was fresh, sunny and the buildings were pretty beautiful in my opinion.

Lillith
----------

I offer Kiri some tea as I let him in. After he settles in I begin to inspect his pokemon one-by-one.

First up was Lily. Although I'm sure the naming coincidence wasn't intentional I always feel myself feeling a little flushed when I examine her. I run my finger along her legs, carefully watching her reactions. Afterwards I scribble some notes down on her paper and give her a light pat on the head.

Next is, Bella I think. I glance at the paper just to make sure. I frown almost immediately and scribble some notes. Well, it's not bad, just needs some rest. Still I wonder what happened.

Next is Blaze. He comes off like an asshole, but he's just a big doof. I record the strength and intensity of his flame. He clearly wants to hide it, but he's tired too. I scribble down some notes.

Archie, hmm. If Kiri was a pokemon this would be him. But that's pretty common for your first pokemon. Arcanines are actually pretty hard to take care of, but he seems to do just fine. I tilt my head and smile at the Arcanine. I don't make notes on him until after they leave because it seems to depress him when I write down that he got injured.

Zeus. What a name. He shocked me once and then for some reason never did again. I don't know if my reaction scared him or made him feel bad for me. Kiri says he's pretty stubborn, but I never see that side of him. I scribble down some notes after looking him over.

Finally, oh. His Garchomp. He used to be the biggest pain to check up on. But I can already tell from his cheeky grin that he's fine. I glance over at Kiri, I hope he doesn't mind that I do this in silence. I know he's fine, but I wouldn't really be doing my job if I didn't actually check him. Maybe he's just proud that he's completely unscathed. I run my hands along his fins and check his skin.

"So." I finally say something. "Lily has some light bruising along her left ribs and flank." I finish writing on all the files and start putting them back in the folder. "Bella seems to have a fever, although I think it's just from exhaustion and not an illness." I place the folder back in the cabinet. "Blaze is tired, but otherwise uninjured. Zeus is running low on stored electricity, but he's fine too. Jet, was it, is absolutely fine." I pull out some vitamin enriched-poffins and give one to each of the pokemon. "Archie, bruised his paw. Maybe he landed on a rock or something, but he's really trying to hide it. Anyways, good job on whatever it is you did out there."



Blake

I quickly head inside, I grew up around snow and ice and I can't stand the weather here already. I better get something to drink I'm thirsty. At least they're handing out free stuff. Eh, some dope is at the vending machine? I glare in his direction. Maybe he's just picky? "...water?" I mutter out loud. "Is he an idiot?" I just turn around and continue to get something free to drink.

After I have my food and drink, I slump down into a chair and place my feet up on the table. "Jeez, they're a noisy bunch. Probably fawning over friendship and other nonsense."



Len

"My my, it's crowded in here too." I murmur in amusement. I take a seat at a table while most other people are getting refreshments. I appreciate the gesture, but I'm not feeling up to them right now. I would go to introduce myself to new people, but I don't know where to begin and it's all so chaotic right now. As I ponder what to do I hear some music being played. "Oh? Maybe I should work on my art as well." I giggle to myself and pullout a sketchbook. I decide to work with that cute girl with the aipom and dirty blonde hair. After finishing a quick base, I start to think about what would look good on the pair. I start drawing her in a one leg skirt. "She looks like she might be athletic though..." I say aimlessly and start to theme the outfit towards running.

Siel

I awake as my alarm clock starts going off. After fumbling around a few seconds I manage to shut if off then roll over and sit up on the side of my bed. I stretch as I get up and change into some clean clothes (a basic red tank top and some worn dark denim jeans) then throw my jacket on over them and throw my boots on. I figure I can get away with the far from formal look since classes don't start for another few days.

I head downstairs and see quite a few students have arrived already. As I pass by the student hall I see Duke handing out leaflets, then head inside to my classroom to make sure everything is in order for the first day of class. After spending about an hour in there cleaning up and reorganizing the room to be how I like it I head over to the rec center to check on the pool.

Before I even have the chance to answer Duke, we get surrounded by students who were looking for leaflets as well, overwhelmed by all of this people, I sneak away, trying to find some calm place to read the leaflet. I stumble in the lounge room and grab myself a lemonade, good thing it's free, I forgot my money. As I try to find a good table to sit, I notice that the people in here, are all quite different. There seems to be a guy just drinking some water, nothing special really, while there's also a classy looking girl drawing something, but probably, the one that struck me the most, is a chill looking guy just playing his guitar. Right here, in the the lounge room.
Having seen all of this people, I try to imagine how they would see me. Probably, they would be confused. I have been told a few times that I can look a bit scary, hey, it's not my fault really that I got this scar or hair color. Either way, I remember my former objective and I find an empty table around the center of the room. I sit there, and start drinking and looking at the leaflet. When I finish, I notice that I'm not that eager to look for a roomate or go book a room or anything so I stand in my chair, and start reading a fantasy book. Eventually, the book bores me and I doze off for a while.

Kiri

I accept the tea and greet her, but after that I sit down and relax for a while.
I let Lillith do her job without asking much, so she could focus. I take glances once in a while to see how she is examining them, since I find it pretty interesting. Other than that I'm either looking around the room or texting on my phone, and sipping my tea.

Once Lily is done and she announces the results I'm all ears, I change my sitting posture more towards her and listen. I nod and thank her. ''That's all then. I knew that much from Blaze, Jet and Zeus, noticed that Lily was walking a bit weirdly but other than that I'd never have known all that. Nice that we got that out of the way.'' I say with a relieved expression on my face. I call my pokemons except Lily and Archie into their poke balls. I call Archie to walk up to me and I tousle his crown rather gently and call him silly for hiding such. After that he lets out a growl which indicates he's kind of sorry, and licks my palm which I was using to scratch him under the chin, which he always likes. Then he settles down, while Lily hops down the table she was on and curls up next to Archie. Archie takes a lot of space, since he is quite big. But I don't think Lillith minds that too much.

Then I turn back towards Lillith and finish my tea. ''Anyhow, how have you been? Breeding all the starters for this year and what not went fine?'' I say, and then continue: ''I've been like a week away or so which is indeed much shorter than usually, but I've heard some news. We'll be having some new teachers and also seemed like we have loads of 1st years, many more than we had in the past few years.'' I finish the sentence and stretch for a little bit and look at Archie and Lily. They are both nearly asleep, rest was indeed quite the best thing for them now.

Diana

As I've had a good look around the campus, I find a rather remote place, not too remote but somewhere where you wouldn't look at at first glance. I let out Bagon from his poke ball, and he jumps to my arms eagerly and shouts ''Ba-goon!''. He doesn't like being in his poke ball for long times, so he was pretty happy to be outside again. We decide that we'll do some practice with his Dragon Breath, Crunch and Headbutt. We aren't going to reach the top without practice, so we train nearly religiously. Then we just get it on. I start to wish that I already had more pokemon that I owned, but I guess that'll be soon enough. I take care of many pokemons at home, but I don't own any other than Bagon for now.

Lillith

I let out a soft sigh. "Yeah, there's two eggs left but they should be ready before the night is through. I bred a fair few difficult ones this year." I slump back down in my chair and take a sip of tea, although it's not as warm as I'd like it. "I'm surprised you never asked for a Pokemon." I place my cup down. "More students than usual...I hope the new teachers are up to it. Still, many more opportunities for abuse than usual as well." I lightly slide my finger around the top of my cup. "I'd be out there greeting the students, but I haven't slept much this week and I'm afraid I don't quite look presentable."

"So when will these new teachers be here?" My gaze slowly falls upon the Espeon. I can't help it, all Eevee are cute. "I trust that they will be up to date on what is and isn't acceptable." I can't help but wonder what pokemon actually think of me. Some lady who just stares at them and rubs and pets them; and then tells them that they're actually injured or sick or malnourished. "Oh and students are arriving, yes? You see any problems yet?"

"Ugh.." I let out a grunt of discontent. "...that music is really starting to piss me off." I glance around the room and spot the perpetrator. I get up and start walking over to him and then I noticed another kid. "...sleeping?" Are you for real? And with a book. A fantasy book. "...there's literal monsters everywhere and you're reading fantasy." I continue to gripe under my breath. I decide to take a detour over to this sleeping kid. "Hey!" I nearly growl at him while yanking the chair back to wake him up. "...this isn't a damn bedroom, go outside where you won't bother me."

Hyun

I am in a suit. I know that one. It was the one I used to wear during our prestations...
I look around. It's my room from where I used to be along with the class rep. This must be a dream.
I can see a note on my desk. "I will wait for you in the music room. Aerie." I shook my head, trying to wake up. Doesn't work. Might as well go, I guess.
I slowly head to the music room, unsure of what am I supposed to find.
Once in front of the door, I hear piano. her favorite piece. our piece. I open the door, but smoke obscure's all that I can see. I step forward. The piano intensifies. I step again forward. Again, the piano is becoming louder. I make one step backward, the piano brutally stop. The smoke dissipate and I see Aerie, smiling... her eyes closed, inside a coffin.
Then I woke up, sweating despite how cold the room is.
I hate this....
I wipe off my face. It seems I cried while sleeping. Aerie (Froslass) is looking at me worried.
"I'm fine, don't worry." I pat her head, with a small smile.
As I looked around, all of my other pokemons gathered around me, yawning.
"Right. It's time for your check up." I wonder if Lillith is around. The Ice starting to disappear, I opened the door and left.
Time to move.

I suddenly awake at the shouts of a girl. Wait, is she shouting at me? Not only that, she's insulting me and shaking my chair. I slowly stand up and drop my book to the floor.
"What a nice way to wake up someone, don't you think?" I look at her in the eyes and I start changing my attitude.
"I have no idea of who you are, and I coudn't care less. But MAYBE you could do something else, and mind your own fucking business!" I slam my fist at the table, knocking over my now empty glass of lemonade. Maybe I've called too much attention now. But I don't care, I coudn't care less, if she's so brave to come here and treat me like this, she shoudn't care at all neither. Even tho, maybe I'm not giving an exactly good first impression to the rest of students in here.

Hm, how cute. Someone who was dumb enough to fall asleep defenseless in public thinks he has fangs. Instead of giving him a verbal response I quickly nab the book off of the floor and start ripping pages out. Clearly he wasn't going to understand words anyways. Maybe this will get through to him instead. I can feel myself smirking at him, staring into his face without blinking, tearing out page after page.
