The Pokémon Academy Life Community

Upon hearing my name I give a quick glance behind me.

"Hello, Mari." I want to remain focused on my egg, but when people talk to me they generally want me to look at them so I carefully swaddle the egg and return it to my bag.

"Did you need me for something?" I turn to face her and give a pensive look.

(Just keep in mind that the point is to play out how your character would, it gets easier over time as their personality fully develops, You're doing fine so far though)

(As long as you can "live" it through your character, I don't think there is any trouble??? then again I am not sure.)

"I heard rumors about Johto, and I know that many people come from there."
I could feel the pokeball at my belt moving. Yep. It will probably be time to bring her out for a walk outside around the garden.

"What's it like in Kalos? Well... To be honest? I don't know much. I only know two towns out there, I grew up and lived in a forest surrounded by pokemons, so... I can describe it as a country with a lot of Battle restaurant? And clothes stores."

Another movement from her. Damnit. "Excuse me, I have to go outside to let my pokemon have a walk." I stood up bowed, and gave it to him a piece of paper with my phone Number on it. "Here's my number if you wish to talk again sometimes." I smiled, and walked away to the garden.

I swear, sometimes Froslie is kind of a pain. But I will always forgive her.

As Hyun gets up and leaves I wave goodbye to him and add his contact information to my phone. "Gonna have to remember to shoot him a message later so he has my number as well." I think to myself as I polish off my pancakes. I look around to see if I recognize anyone else in here. I see a couple of girls sitting at a secluded table talking, pretty sure one of them was in my homeroom class. Other than that the only other people that immediately stick out are a couple of guys that seem to tower over everyone else a bit at another table. A few minutes go by before I start to get bored of sitting here waiting, so I box up the extra plate of pancakes I got for Ryan and head outside.

Feeling the sun beat down on my body I stretch a bit and look around the campus. In the distance I can see the REC center. "I wonder if the pools open yet?" I kinda mutter to myself as I head that direction.

As soon as I sat on a bench and released her she directly jumped, and hugged me. Aaah her sweet embrace is as cool as always. How nice...
I remember the hard time I had to keep her around me when she was just a Snorunt. Trying to freeze people all around, all the time.
Because of the cold temperature around us, all of the students around evaded the garden.
Oh well, since it's just her and me, might as well start to sing. Meloetta taught me after all, and Froslie loves it.

I reach the REC center and find a sign saying the pool doesn't open until the first day of classes. I go the where they keep the pool supplies and grab a strip to test the water conditions. After the strip finishes I see that the water conditions are all coming up fine, so I go to the locker rooms, strip off my jacket, shirt, boots, and socks. When I get back to the pool I let Padra (buizel), Locke (sneasel), Murkrow (Drinky), and Duke (growlithe) out of there balls. After which I dive into the pool and enjoy a nice swim with Padra and Locke while Duke stretches and enjoys exploring the pool room and Murkrow perches up on a rafter.


Edit: forgot I had a murkrow already XD.

"Nice to meet you Kiri," I said with a wry smile. As he asked about Vermilion City, the smile faltered slightly. "I didn't get out very much," I admitted after a bit. "But what I saw was nice, the SS Anne was in port last time I went out, but that was several months ago." Turning back to my plate I began to munch through the second helping.

(sorry was busy with work and life)

''Was nice to meet you too. Ah, I see. I remember that when I was little, my father used to take me to SS Anne a couple of times. I don't remember much of it, but I definitely remember him taking me there.'' I tell, and almost tend to get carried away with my story telling. As I ate the rest of the pancakes, I could deem my hunger satisfied. I wiped my mouth with a tissue and set the cutlery on the plate.

''Those were some good pancakes, I have to say.'' I said with a gratified look on my face. Then I stretched for a bit again because I had sat still for a while. Then I decided to ask him a few things just out of curiosity. ''So, are you excited to be here at the Academy? Personally I'm pretty pumped up.'' I said with a pretty enthusiastic tone. ''Oh, and to add to that have you thought of which electives you will choose?'' I added.
I looked at the clock on the wall, and realized that the orientation would be held pretty soon. No hurries as of yet, though.


(Absolutely np we all get busy sometimes. Oh btw, I think I'll make my 2nd character soon. Haven't figured out if it is going to be a he or a she yet though )

Nodding, I push my plate away. "I'm interested to see how the school works out. Not to mention seems like a nice diverse student body," I say, stretching in my seat slightly. Glancing around once more, I notice that the cafeteria was starting to clear out, as student began to leave. "Oh, I'm thinking Electric and Fighting. I've done some training in Fighting, at my last school, and then as I'm sure you're aware Vermilion City is famous for the Electric Gym," I say piling our plates together. Fighting had been the main focus of the Academy before, my hand instinctively brushing against Felix's (Mienfoo) ball at my waist.

"We should probably go sign up for our room before orientation right? That is if you'd like to," I said standing up to put away our dirtied plates and utensils. "Relic Hall right?" I asked over my shoulder.

As he cleans up and answers me to my questions I nod and stand up myself. ''Mmh. Yeah I'm aware of it. I was actually planning to pick Electric and Fire as electives myself. Can't say I'm very interested in fighting, but I did boxing for a few years in the past. Each to their own.'' I reply with a pretty long statement.

As he reminds me of the orientation which I had already almost forgot about, I realize that we probably should get moving. After all, we had been sitting here for a long time and a lot of people were starting to leave or some of the more eager ones had already probably unpacked in their rooms. ''Oh yeah, you're completely right. We should go reserve a room before that, definitely. Let's head there I suppose.'' I reply, and start walking outside, and take my Archie's pokeball from my belt. ''As we get outside I'll let my Growlithe out for walk. He's really impatient after not getting out of the ball since the bus left from my stop.'' I tell Mark, and wonder if he has any pokemon. He probably does, since most people do even before they come here.
