(Andy's first post. It starts from the wayy beginning)
On the bus I sat next to a first-year, a guy with fluffy blonde hair and green eyes. We didn't talk a whole lot, but we did discuss some things and he did ask me a few questions about the Academy. Seemed like a pretty easy going guy, since he even had a nap and overslept, I grinned, but I couldn't help it so I had to wake him up as we got to the Academy. He was pretty thankful and we quickly parted ways. We forgot to ask each others names, but that wasn't a big deal. We'd probably see again later.
As I got off the bus I thought to myself, that the ride was exactly what I expected. A lot like laste year, just as tedious. I was pretty fine with it though, since I had a book to read and had a few conversations with some people to kill time. I quickly darted to the Student Center, dropped off my belongings and decided I'll head off to the dorms. Aura hall to be specific. The lines were starting to get thick, but I was there pretty early so I didn't have to wait much. I signed up for a room, and decided to go random, since my roommate from last year was nowhere to be found. I was used to being this fast paced, I often left others in the dust while I finished my job. However I was looking forward to this year. Meeting up with my old friends, and serving my duties as the student council president, attending the swimming club and such. Pretty normal stuff, but I didn't need anything complex to make me happy.
I got the keys for the room, but I didn't check who would be rooming with me. The attendant just said that the person had stayed over the summer. I only knew very few people who said they will probably stay at the Academy, so I had my guesses. That didn't matter much to me, I knew majority of the 2nd years either way. I opened the room. A cold breeze blows upon me as I open the door. Brr... It was pretty chilly. I looked around, and noticed that my belongings were delivered here before I got here. Just like last year. Sometimes I wonder how they get the stuff transported so quickly. Well, I unpack my things swiftly, because I want to get ready for the orientation. I'll be holding it, since I am the student council president after all. I didn't like to slack off on my responsibilities. Oh well, as soon as I get everything settled down, I practice my speech for a while and then decide to head out.
I take a walk around the buildings, and notice that nothing is changed really. Not that it matters, but that makes me relieved. Always felt like this place was like my second home, and wouldn't want it to change much. I decide to let out my Rufflet called Guts, (which I figured was a very fitting name for him) to fly around for a bit. Even though he is a bit of gutsy and scruffy, that little bird is brave and caring towards ones it warms up to. I've actually been surprised he hasn't evolved yet, since he is surprisingly strong and experienced in battle for his size. He was my second pokemon, after all. I just guess Rufflet's tend to evolve pretty late. Guts goes around flying for a moment, but I know he'll return to me. Always. He'll return in an hour or so, but he has a sharp eye so he will notice me if he spots me outside. If not, he'll just meet me by the garden. He also knows how to come inside my room by using the window, but since I had a different room now than I did last year, that wasn't an option.
I spot a couple of tall guys walking towards Relic Hall, one of them which I recognize to be that guy I talked to on the bus. I decide not to bother them, since I was feeling like walking alone for now and I had no business with them really. As I walked by the garden, I noticed a familiar looking guy run off to with a unique hairstyle, blue/cyan-colored hair with a ponytail. Oh, that must have been Hyun. He's a student I knew from last year. Not that I was friends with him, but I knew him as much to say that he specialized in Ghost and Ice types. Now it struck me to the back of my head. I realized that I was probably rooming with him, judging from what the room was like. Huh, never would've guessed. That was cool though, I thought to myself. Literally. Hehe, I grinned a bit.
I keep on walking, and I felt like going to check the pool if it's fine, and perhaps I could let Blastoise and Staryu out. Although I decided to spare that, for now I'd go check in on professors at the Academy. It isn't available for the regular students yet, but as the student council president, I had access to it. As for the professors, I was on pretty good terms with majority of them, and I had a tendency to stop by at some of the teacher's rooms for an occasional coffee or so. It was a way to kill time, since I was already pretty ready for the orientation, all I had to do was wait a bit.
After a bit of chit-chat, I headed to the auditorium to ready up. The orientation would start in about 5 minutes. I met a few people I knew around there and greeted them, then went to the backstage.
