The Pokémon Academy Life Community

I sigh heavily as I go back to staring out the window. I ended up having to give up my empty seat as the bus got incredibly crowded at the last stop. The guy who took the seat next to me is some first year that keeps going on and on about the student council, asking me if I know the president, what they're all like, how tough it is to join, and talking about the plans he has for when he joins them. After about 5 minutes of this guy rambling on about the student handbook I decide to silently put my ear buds in and drown him out with some music.

Thirty minutes pass by and the Academy finally comes into sight. as I sit up a bit and remove my headphones, I discover the guy next to me is still rambling on about something or another.

"Alright looks like we're here!" he says "I can't wait to find myself a roomie and get settled in, thanks for chatting with me!"

"Did he seriously not notice I wasn't listening?" I wonder to myself as he waves and rushes off the bus. I shake my head a bit and chuckle as I grab my luggage (a duffel bag crammed full of clothes, a backpack with miscellaneous belongings like a toothbrush and junk food, and my case for my bass guitar). As I get everything together and step off the bus I take a nice deep breathe and head towards the Student Center to get my room assignment for the year.

I think 70 plates from me should be enough. The other students who are supposed to help me will do the others for this morning.

Suddenly, I could hear footsteps. someone's already here? I looked at the clock. Already time to open? Where is everyone else?
Ah! Here they are! Now I can leave and take my share.
Why only pancakes though? Isn't this a super cool Academy? Oh well, too bad. Maybe once school will really begins, we'll finally have something interesting.

Into Aura Hall I went. It seemed to be a lot less decorated than Relic Hall, but I really didn't care. I signed up for a room with a random roommate, because I wouldn't dare ask anyone. Once I finished, they gave me my room key almost nonchalantly. I was amazed at how fast the service was compared to last time. Well then. I went up to my dorm and awaited my roommate. He came in around 30 minutes later. He seemed a bit too thin for comfort, but I could deal for the year. I started unpacking and saw what was broken and what wasn't.

I shoved the phone into one of the pockets of my grey suit and walked into the main doors of Relic Hall. I sighed as it was as I suspected, many students of caring years met in the hall. I dropped my luggage off with the attendant as I walked to the main area where the people were talking to each other. If memory served correctly then I need a roommate for the duration of the stay here.

I walked into the main room of Relic hall and waited, "I'll see if someone comes and talks to me otherwise I'll put in for the random draw." I muttered under my breath. I leaned up against on of the pillars as i wondered if the company would be okay with the Sinnoh branch being so young. I shook off the feeling and started looking over my folder with the shipping manifests for the company, i did need to be knowledgeable in these things for when i inherit the company from my father.

I enter the student center and drop my belongings off with one of the guides, then head off to the Relic dorms. As I enter I see a lot of familiar faces from my last year at the Academy. I chat with a few classmates while keeping my eyes open for someone who seems cool to room with.

"Damn," I think to myself "if I don't find someone soon I'm gonna have to go in for random." As the fear of getting someone stuffy as a room mate takes me over I hasten my search.

I finished reading the Manifests and other related materials and had noticed one important thing: it had been almost twenty minutes and not a soul has so much as looked in my direction. I raised an eyebrow, did the suit make them think I'm part of the school staff or something?

I sighed and kicked off the pole lightly in order to stand upright and glance around the room scanning the faces of individuals around the room. Most were the typical students chatting with old classmates or new friends but someone caught my attention, a man in a almost military green jacket with band insignias sewn on. The man himself was nothing particularly special and the hairstyle was okay but not so much his style. No, what caught his attention was the man was hastily searching for something, or someone, and seemed almost like he was on the border of panicking.

I walked towards him and asked, as it was the polite way of approaching the man, "You seem to be looking for something, Mind if i help?"

"You seem to be looking for something, Mind if i help?"

I jumped as someone from behind me uttered these words. Whipping around I see a man wearing a suit and glasses. Quite the fancy get up for another student.

"Oh hey," I say kinda chuckling "Nah I'm not really looking for something, the bus I caught in was just really late so I was trying to find a room mate before I get stuck having to go in for a random one."

I glance back at the guy and notice, he doesn't really look old enough to be staff, no he looks to be around the same age that I am.

"I uh, don't think we've met. Name's Siel." I say, offering my hand out for formalities.

[Hello all of you, nice to see we got more participants now and a good RP going. I am now back myself and can't wait to join!]

As I had finally made my way to the Relic Hall, I sighed in relief. There was a huge crowd that pushed a lot of people in it's way. I looked around and saw people reserving rooms and trying to find roommates as quickly as possible. I personally thought not to rush it, so I just dropped off my luggage with the attendant and then I just put on my headphones and leaned against a wall with my arms folded. I decided to just observe, and let fate do it's work or just get a random roommate. I found it more exciting that way.

My Growlithe's pokeball was shaking in my backpocket, ''Archie'' wanted to get out. However I could not let him out just yet. I had brought him with me, even though the original plan was to have him sent here later on. There I waited, while I just blasted off on music. Someone could have a glance at me and think that I was being antisocial, maybe a bit ''closed'' with my arms, but that wasn't it really. I just found this a more interesting way of doing things, for now at least. I'd eventually have to go out and just sign up a room and go random, but as of now I preferred to let the lines get more thin, maybe someone would talk to me or I'd see someone interesting whom I could room with. Who knows?

After I was done eating, I walked to the dorms, a little bit down.
I could hear such noise at the Relic Hall... New faces, probably.
I sighed. "Maybe it will brighten my day to see some new people around."
